The Chrysler Group LLC has recently teased one of the most popular sports cars over-seas, the new Dodge Viper generation, on Facebook.
Even if the car manufacturer has chosen Facebook for teasing the new Dodge Viper generation, which will be wearing the 2013 model year, we still don’t have anything official on the model. Initial rumors were saying that the SRT CEO, Ralph Gilles, has announced in December last year that the 2013 Dodge Viper will be officially presented at the 2012 New York International Auto Show in April, and for the new generation, the automaker has done some research.
According to the Viper magazine, the manufacturer went after Porsche owners and other high-end supercar owners to ask them what is wrong with the Viper and why don’t they like it, so we might see some significant improves for the new model. The 2013 Dodge Viper is expected to be powered by an 8.7 liter V10 engine which will generate a total output of 600 HP and have a peak torque of 760 Nm (560 lb-ft). The new generation of the Dodge Viper is expected to hit the dealerships sometimes this year, and the American sports car will be sold as a 2013 model year.
