Fiat has recently unveiled the 2013 Panda 4×4 ahead of its debut next month at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
According to the Italian based automaker, the 2013 Fiat Panda 4×4 is getting an off-road inspired body kit with aluminum accents, underbody protection and plastic cladding and, besides these, the model is also getting an increased ride height and a fresh set of 15-inch alloy wheels. The cabin of the Panda 4×4 is similar to the one used in the regular model, except for the revised upholstery, green dashboard and the “eco” leather accents from the door panels.
The 2013 Fiat Panda 4×4 is getting a choice of two engines, the 0.9 liter TwinAir Turbo, which is producing a total output of 84 horsepower (85 PS / 63 kW) and by the 1.3 liter MultiJet diesel unit, generating 74 horsepower (75 PS / 55 kW). Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual transmission which gets a low-range first gear for helping the driver on uphill starts. Power is being sent, in both engine choices, to the permanent all-wheel drive, just like its name suggest. Standard features found on the 2013 Panda 4×4 include the electronic locking differential or electronic stability control. More details on the model will be announced at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September.
