The 2013 Ford Explorer Sport EcoBoost will go on sale next month as the North American based automaker has recently arrived.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 Ford Explorer is promising to be the only high performance, seven-seat passenger SUV on the market which can achieve 22 mpg on the highway. Ford says that in city, the model can return 16 mpg with the EcoBoost engine, which is basically a 3.5 liter V6, producing a total output of 365 horsepower (370 PS / 272 kW), mated to a six-speed SelectShift Automatic transmission.
The 2013 Ford Explorer is getting a choice of four colors, the Ruby Red Metallic Clearcoat, the White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat, the Tuxedo Black Metallic and the Ingot Silver Metallic. The new Ford Explorer Sport EcoBoost has a low-gloss Sterling Gray mesh with contrasting ebony bars, 20-inch machined wheels, blacked headlamps and taillights, sideview mirror skull caps, black roof rails and more, along with a rearview camera in the cabin, a 12-speaker audio system, 6-way power passenger seat, 10-way power driver’s seat and SYNC with MyFord Touch.
