Ford has recently announced the official price list for the 2013 Kuga in Australia, where the cheapest version can now be bought from 27,990 AUD.
According to the car manufacturer, the new Ford Kuga is now sitting 10,000 AUD below its predecessor, and the cheapest version of the model, the Ambiente, with front-wheel drive and a manual transmission, is now available to its future customers from 27,990 AUD. If you have your eyes on the mid-range Kuga Trend, you will have to withdraw 36,240 AUD from your bank accounts, and if you’re into the top of the line Kuga Titanium, you should know that this costs 44,990 AUD.
The Ford Kuga Trend and Titanium AWD get 134 kW and 240 Nm of torque, and these have been rated at 8.0 liters / 100 km. A less powerful 1.6 liter four-cylinder engine, with 110 kW, mated to a six-speed manual transmission, is available in the Ford Kuga Ambiente. With the stop/start system, this version is burning 6.7 L / 100 km, or 7.7 L / 100 km with the optional six-speed automatic gearbox. The 2013 Ford Kuga is rivaling the Nissan X-Trail, the Toyota RAV4, the Subaru Forester, the Honda CR-V and the Mazda CX-5 in Australia.
