The Japanese based automaker Honda has recently received a five-star safety rating from the NHTSA and it was also named a Top Safety Pick.
After it was officially unveiled and launched in the United States back in 2012, the new generation of the Honda Accord Coupe is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time after being tested by the NHTSA. According to the feds, the 2013 Honda Accord Coupe has received a 5-star safety rating. The model is coming with front airbags, side curtain airbags, a rearview camera with a Lane Departure Warning system, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Watch and more.
The 2013 Honda Accord Coupe is being offered, just like the sedan, with the 2.4 liter I-4 engine, which is producing a total output of 185 HP, mated to either a six-speed manual or a CVT. A larger V6 engine is also coming with the model, on the EX-L trim level, with its 278 HP. This is getting a six-speed automatic or a manual transmission. The 2013 Honda Accord Coupe is already available for order at dealerships across the United States.
