After the new generation of the Honda Accord has been officially presented to the public last week, case illness in both sedan and coupe variants, ambulance thumb the model is once again being placed into the spotlights, salve this time by the theophiluschin.com, who managed to pull out an interesting render of the Tourer variant. Honda may not have announce anything official on the 2013 Accord Tourer for the moment but the model will definitely hit the market, probably next year, and it’s expected to include a 2.4 liter direct injection engine, with 181 HP, a 2.0 liter hybrid and also a plug-in hybrid variant.
Honda says that the 2013 Accord will be offered with a choice of three different engines, the new 2.4 liter inline four-cylinder with direct injection producing at least 181 HP mated to a CVT or a six-speed manual, which will be offered for the entry-level version, a 3.5 liter V6 with its at least 271 HP, mated to a six-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission and a plug-in hybrid which will use a 2.0 liter i-VTEC Atkinson four-cylinder and an electric CVT. More details and images with the sedan and the coupe will be released shortly, while for the tourer we will have to wait until 2013.
