The Japanese based automaker Honda has recently announced the arrival of the 2013 CR-Z in Australia, where the two-door hybrid coupe costs 38,490 AUD.
According to the car manufacturer, the 38,490 AUD price set for the 2013 Honda CR-Z two-door hybrid coupe represents a 3,500 AUD increase of the outgoing CR-Z Sport equipped with a manual transmission. The 2013 Honda CR-Z is based on the Luxury version and it’s coming with goodies such as the rearview camera, satellite navigation system or leather trim in standard. Honda says that this is the first time when the manual transmission has been offered in high specification.
The 2013 Honda CR-Z is powered by a 1.5 liter four-cylinder engine, helped by an electric motor, which are producing a total output of 100 kW, at 6,600 rpm, with a peak torque of 190 Nm available between 1,000 and 2,000 rpm, 9 kW and 16 Nm more. The automatic version is coming with 99 kW at 6,600 rpm and 172 Nm of torque at 1,300 rpm – 3,000 rpm, 8 kW and 5 Nm more. The combined fuel economy now stands at 5.3 liters / 100 km for the manual and at 5.0 liters / 100 km for the CVT.
