2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe leaked image

After releasing a limited edition of the Genesis Coupe GT earlier this year inspired by the Hyundai Motor Sport Team that raced the model at the Nurburgring at the 24-hour race, the South Korean automaker is already preparing the new generation of the popular model which won’t arrive until next year, as a 2013 model year.

Thanks to our colleagues at Hyundai-Blog.com, we now have an idea of how the new Genesis Coupe will look like but what we are most curious about is what we can find under that pretty body covered in grey.

Rumors say that the new generation of the Genesis Coupe will be powered the current 2.0 liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine, but a larger 3.8 liter V6 with direct injection, delivering 333 horsepower, is also in the books.

No more details about the new generation of the Genesis Coupe are known for now but Hyundai has announced that its 2013 model will be officially presented at next year’s Detroit Auto Show, so the car might already be scheduled for hitting the dealerships after the American event.
