Hyundai has recently pulled the wraps off the 2013 model year Genesis which is gaining some tech that should keep its future buyers interested in the model.
According to the South Korean based automaker Hyundai, the 2013 Genesis model is now coming with an eight-inch Driver Information System (DIS), with a 64 GB SSD which can store just about everything you need. Hyundai is saying that the new system is getting a joystick controller and a more intuitive interface, along with the Hyundai Blue Link telematic technology, which is allowing the driver to remotely lock or unlock the doors, while providing roadside assistance and SOS Emergency Assistance.
The 2013 Hyundai Genesis is losing the 4.6 liter V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 385 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 324 lb-ft (439 Nm), along with the normal version of the 5.0 liter V8, which means that the vehicle is only keeping the 3.8 liter V6 with its 333 horsepower and the larger 5.0 liter R-Spec V8, which is producing a total output of 429 HP.
