The new generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe, wearing the 2013 model year on it, will be officially presented to the public at this year’s New York Auto Show, which will open its gates in April. According to the guys at motortrend.com, the South Korean manufacturer has confirmed that the new generation of the midsize crossover will debut at the overseas automotive event. The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe will be third generation of the model and it’s expected to go on sale by the end of this year.
Rumors say that the new generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe might actually retain its current engine options and drive train and improve the performance, efficiency, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, but, besides this, the car manufacturer might also offer a new four-cylinder turbocharged engine, copying Ford’s Ecoboost units. Sadly this is all we know for now about the third generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe, but more details on the model will be officially announced once the model will debut at this year’s New York Auto Show in April.
