The South Korean based automaker Hyundai has recently released some official press images with the new generation of the Santa Fe / ix45, ahead of the model’s debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show on the 4th of April.
After the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, or ix45 as it is also being known, has leaked online a couple of times, attracting some “unwanted” publicity into the SUV, the car manufacturer has decided that time has come for the automotive press to see the new generation of the model in official images. But even with the small photo gallery provided by the South Korean automaker, we still don’t get anything new and the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe’s design is no longer a surprise, as you can see by clicking this link and this link.
The new generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe, which will be known as the ix45 on the European markets, will adopt the company’s new Fluidic Sculpture design language and changes to the model occur just about everywhere, but like automaker have recently thought us, a new car isn’t that new if it’s not coming with LED daytime running lights (which will soon be mandatory in the EU) and large aluminum wheels, 19-inch in this case. The 2013 Santa Fe will also get a refreshed turbo diesel engine, along with a new turbocharged petrol unit (274 HP). More details on the model will be announced next month at the 2012 New York Auto Show.
