Jeep has recently announced the official starting price of the 2013 Grand Cherokee SRT8, which has been set at 60, 920 USD over-seas.
After revealing the two new special editions of the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, the Vapor and the Alpine, just a few days ago, the ridiculously powerful crossover is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the North American based automaker announcing its starting price for the 2013 model year.
If we should compare the 60,920 USD price set on the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 to the price set on the 2012 model year, we can find out that the “new” one is $5,625 more expensive than the 2012 model year.
But don’t think that you can just walk into a dealership, pay the $60k and walk away with a Grand Cherokee SRT8 Vapor or Alpine because the two special editions cost more, 2,495 USD over the base price, to a total of 63,415 USD, including shipping.
Under the hood, the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is powered by a 6.4 liter HEMI V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 470 horsepower, with a peak torque of 465 lb-ft. The massive unit is allowing the powerful crossover to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds and do a quarter mile in about 13 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 160 mph.
