The new generation of the Kia Cee’d has been recently launched in Germany where the hatchback has a starting price of 13,990 euros.
After being officially presented to the public last month during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the new generation of the Kia Cee’d is once again entering our news, this time with the automaker announcing its official starting price in Germany. According to the South Korean based automaker, the 2013 Kia Cee’d hatchback will start at 13,990 euros in Germany once the model will arrive in the European country this summer. Future owners of the Kia Cee’d will have to choose between two petrol engines and two diesel units and four trims, the Attract, the Edition 7, the Vision and the Spirit, and the entry-level model will get 100 HP.
Standard features which will become available with the entry-level 2013 Kia Cee’d Attract, besides the 100 HP engine, include the six-speaker audio system, central locking, electrically adjustable side mirrors, electric front windows, multifunction steering wheel, cruise control and daytime running lights, along with traction control, ESC, six airbags and hill assist. The new generation of the Kia Cee’d is 10 mm lower and 50 mm linger than its predecessor, with the body being 10 mm narrower. The cargo room in the model has increased by 40 liters. The five-door hatchback will arrive in Germany this summer and it will be followed by the Station Wagon in the autumn.
