Kia has recently announced the official starting price of the 2013 Rio five-door SX with a six-speed manual transmission, which has been set at 18,650 USD, including a destination charge.
According to the South Korean based automaker, the 2013 Kia Rio five-door SX with a six-speed manual transmission actually has the same price as the five-door Rio SX equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission, while the base version of the model, the 2013 Kia Rio LX can be bought by its future customers from 14,550 USD, shipping included.
“Our customers and the automotive press have been asking for the Rio five-door SX with a manual transmission and we’ve listened. As the Kia brand becomes more and more relevant to enthusiasts, we’ll continue to evaluate consumer demand and consider bringing other high-spec manuals to market”, said the Kia Motors America director of product planning, Orth Hedrick.
Kia says that the 2013 Rio five-door SX with manual gearbox is getting features like the 7-inch navigation system with SiriusXM traffic system, push-button start, sport-tuned suspension, rearview camera, multi-function steering hweel, Bluetooth, AM/FM/CD/MP3 SiriusXM satellite audio system, LED taillights, LED accents in the front, 17-inch alloy wheels and much more.
