The Italian based automaker Lamborghini is getting ready to celebrate, in 2013, the 50th anniversary since the Automobili Lamborghini SpA was founded.
In order to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary next year since the Automobili Lamborghini SpA was founded, Lamborghini is planning to develop a special edition of the Aventador, which will probably be named the Anniversario. But with the car manufacturer keeping details on the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador Anniversario for the moment, the guys at teamspeed.com have posted a render of the supercar. According to our source, the Lamborghini Aventador Anniversario will get lots of carbon fiber and production will be limited to only 50 units.
More details on the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador Anniversario will be announced shortly, but as a quick reminder, the Lamborghini Aventador is coming in a two-door body style, with two seats and the suggested retail price in Europe for the vehicle has been set at 255,000 euros (379,700 USD). The Italian supercar is powered by an impressive 6.5 liter V12 engine which is producing a total output o 690 horsepower. The unit is mated to a seven-speed single clutch transmission which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph). The Lamborghini Aventador is burning 17.2 liters of fuel in a combined cycle every 100 km and it’s emitting 398 g/km of CO2.
