The Japanese based automaker Lexus has recently announced that the 2013 ES will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 New York Auto Show on the 4th of April.
Even if the Toyota luxury brand is trying to keep the 2013 Lexus ES a surprise for the over-seas automotive event next month, the guys at Lexus Enthusiast have really made our day not too long ago when they posted some images with the model caught completely undisguised, revealing just what we needed to know about the new ES. As you can see from the images posted below, the 2013 Lexus ES will come with a new front bumper, LED-infused headlights and a spindle grille.
The cabin hasn’t been left aside either by the Japanese designers which have completely redesigned the dashboard and center console, also fitting the model with updated controls, higher quality materials and an analog clock. Under the hood, the 2013 Lexus ES is expected to be powered by a 2.5 liter V6 engine, which will develop a total output of 206 horsepower and 187 lb-ft (253 Nm) of torque, along with a 3.5 liter V6 and its 306 horsepower and 277 lb-ft (375 Nm) of torque. More details on the new ES will be announced at the New York Auto Show.
