2013 Lexus LS 460 F Sport gets TRD treatment image

Toyota Racing Development (TRD) has recently created a new body kit for the 2013 Lexus LS 460 F Sport which makes the model more appealing than the standard version.

According to the company’s in-house tuner TRD, the body kit in question is adding new components like the front splitter, the rear diffuser, the redesigned side skirts, the sport mufflers, the forged aluminum wheels and some other minor tweaks which will make the model more attractive compared to the regular version. The new body kit made by TRD is listed on the company’s Japanese website and this probably means that it won’t become available in the United States anytime soon.

TRD didn’t announce any extra details on its new creation but as a quick reminder, the 2013 Lexus LS is coming in four versions, the LS 460, the LS 460L, the LS 460 F Sport and the LS 600hL, with the first three getting the 4.6 liter V8 engine under its hood, mated to the eight-speed sequential automatic transmission with 386 HP and 487 Nm of torque (367 lb-ft) for the rear-wheel drive, and 360 HP (268 kW) and 470 Nm of torque (347 lb-ft) for the all-wheel drive. The hybrid version is getting a 5.0L V8 with 389 HP and 521 Nm of torque, along with two electric motors, a Ni-MH battery pack and a CVT, producing a total output of 438 HP.
