The facelifted version of the 2013 Mazda MX-5, has recently leaked over the web ahead of what it might be a possible unveiling later on this year.
The current generation of the Mazda MX-5 has been on sale ever since 2005 and it seems that the Japanese based automaker doesn’t have any plans to develop a new one. But that doesn’t mean that the Asian roadster will remain the same and the company is getting ready to launch a facelifted version of the MX-5. The 2013 Mazda MX-5 has recently leaked over the web and for the images posted below we must thank the guys at mx5oc.co.uk, who are also saying that the model might be officially presented by the end of this month.
As you can see from the mini-photo gallery posted below this article, the 2013 Mazda MX-5 is getting a modest update, which includes the “classic” revised fog lights, the new front bumper, the pop-up hood which will comply with the pedestrian safety standards, an updated color palette and a fresh set of alloy wheels. The interior changes to the facelifted version of the Japanese roadster will probably include some black trim around the gauges, along with revised upholstery and that’s about it. More details on the 2013 Mazda MX-5 will be announced in the following months.
