The Japanese based automaker Mazda has recently announced the official price of the new Mazda6 generation during the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
After it was officially unveiled a couple of months ago and then brought to the 2012 Paris Motor Show where it made its world debut, the new generation of the Mazda6 is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its starting price in the United Kingdom, which has been set at 19,595 GBP. According to the car manufacturer, the new Mazda6 will be launched in the U.K. in January 2013 in both sedan and estate forms.
Mazda says that the new generation of the Mazda6 is coming with a choice of two petrol engines in Russia, the SkyActiv-G 2.0 liter with 148 HP (150 PS / 110 kW) and 210 Nm of torque (155 lb-ft), along with the larger SkyActiv-G with 2.5 liter, developing a total output of 189 HP (192 PS / 141 kW) and 256 Nm of torque (189 lb-ft). The 2013 Mazda6 has a Kodo design language, a signature wing grille and LED infused headlights. The Mazda6 in the UK will come with two diesel engines, available with 148 BHP or 173 BHP, along with a 163 BHP petrol with a six-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission.
