The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently announced that the 2013 B-Class has been launched in India where it’s available from INR 2.15 million.
According to the car manufacturer, the all-new Mercedes-Benz B-Class is only available with a single engine option for the Indian auto market, in the form of the B180, which gets the 1.6 liter turbocharged petrol unit under its hood, producing a total output of 122 horsepower and a peak torque of 200 Nm (148 lb-ft). The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and prices for the model start at INR 2.15 million (39,800 euro) in the Asian country.
The new Mercedes-Benz B-Class B180, which is underpinned by the new MFA platform, is equipped with features like the attention assist, the hill-start, the brake assist, the start/stop system and with a lot of airbags. The 2013 B-Class MPV is aimed on the Indian market towards families but judging by its price it will definitely be bought by those who raise tigers for a living.
