The upcoming 2013 Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake has recently leaked in official images over the web, ahead of its official launch at the Paris Motor Show in September.
The latest creation of the German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is called the CLS Shooting Brake and the model is being placed into the spotlights one more time ahead of its official debut during the 2012 Paris Motor Show, with the help of the guys at autoexpress.co.uk, who got their hands on a first image with the luxurious vehicle.
Even if the 2013 Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake has a lot of internal things in common with the four-door CLS coupe, the model is actually unique from the windshield back, having additional storage space, extra leg room for the rear seat passengers and a longer wheelbase. The 2013 Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake is 16 mm longer than the regular version of the CLS and it’s also 3 mm lower than the four-door coupe, offering 5.47 cubic feet of storage with the rear seats folded and around 21 cubic feet of storage space with the rear seats in their normal position.
The 2013 Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake is looking just like the concept version revealed back in 2010 and this should be one of the best looking cars on sale this year. The CLS Shooting Brake will be available with features like fine porcelain accents into the cabin but if this seems too much for you, regular leather and wood inserts will also be available. At the time of its launch on the Old Continent, the CLS Shooting Brake will be available in just two versions, the CLS250 CDI with 201 HP and the CLS350 CDI, with 261 HP, which will be followed in November by the CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake, getting 518 HP out of the 5.5 liter twin-turbo V8 engine found in the CLS63 AMG.
