2013 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class was launched in Australia image

The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class has been recently launched in Australia, where the model is now available to its future customers from 130,000 AUD.

The Australian market has just received the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, in GL350 BlueTec, GL500 BlueEfficiency and GL63 AMG versions, where the cheapest model yet, the GL350 BlueTec, is available to its future customers from 129,900 AUD. The model in question is powered by a 3.0 liter turbo diesel V6 engine, which is producing a total output of 190 kW and it has a peak torque of 620 Nm. The average fuel consumption stands at 7.7L / 100km and the CO2 emissions stop at 199 g/km.

Standard items found on the GL350 BlueTec include the leather upholstery, heated front seats, 360-degree camera, Bluetooth, internet connectivity, 17.8-cm TFT color display with voice control and sat-nav and 20-inch alloy wheels. The GL500 BlueEfficiency is priced from 154,900 AUD and its getting a 4.7L twin-turbo petrol V8, with 320 kW and 700 Nm of torque. The unit is mated to the same 7-speed transmission as the 3.0L V6 diesel. The top of the line GL63 AMG is priced at 214,900 AUD and it’s getting the 5.5L twin-turbo V8, with 410 kW and 760 Nm of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 4.9s and top speed is limited to 250 km/h.
