The German aftermarket specialists at MEC Design have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, a new styling program for the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL550 (R231).
After presenting us a modified Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG just a few months ago, the tuning company is entering our news once more, this time with a new upgrade package for the supercar’s smaller brother, the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class, in the shape of the SL550. According to MEC Design, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL550 in question has been equipped with some exterior “goodies” which make the roadster more appealing.
Amongst the features added to the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL550 by MEC Design we can tell you about the AMG inspired front and rear bumpers, the four-tailpipe exhaust system which is available in two different sound types named the “Earthquake” and the “Daytona”, the electric lowering module, which is reducing the ride height by up to 55 mm, and the new set of 20-inch alloy wheels (MECxtremeI), which are finished in satin. The aftermarket specialists at MEC Design didn’t say anything on the price list for these upgrades and this is expected to be announced soon.
