Mercedes-Benz has recently announced its intention to launched the all-new SL65 AMG over the following days.
According to the German based automaker, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG is the most powerful Mercedes-AMG roadster and lightweight materials have been used on its construction. The model is coming with an AMG sports suspension, with the AMG five-spoke light alloy wheels painted in titanium gray with a high-sheen finish and wrapped in 255/35R19 and 280/30/R19 tires on the front and rear, along with the “twin blade” radiator grille, the AMG logos, the diamond design stitching in the cabin, the carbon fiber trim elements and more.
Power to the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG is being provided by a 6.0 liter V12 biturbo engine, which is producing a total output of 630 HP (436 kW) and 1000 Nm of torque. The new SL65 AMG generation can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 11.8 seconds. Top speed of the model has been electronically limited to 250 km/h.
The standard equipment list for the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG includes the panoramic vario-roof, the Neck-Pro head restraints, the Magic Vision Control, the keyless-go convenience package, the intelligent light system (ILS), the frontbass, the anti-theft alarm system, the remote unlocking boot lid or the 6-disc DVD changer Comand Online.
The options list includes the red painted brake calipers, the AMG performance steering wheels finished in nappa leather, the AMG performance media with telemetry function, the AMG exterior carbon fiber package, the AMG forged light alloy wheels finished in matte or titanium grey and polished. No details on the price have been announced yet.
