The latest MINI John Cooper Works GP hatchback is now available for sale in the United States too, where the model can be bought from 39, 950 USD.
The 2013 MINI John Cooper Works is supposed to be the fastest production MINI ever made, and if you’re living in the United States and waited for the model to arrive there, we’ve got some good news for you, because the hot hatch was recently launched in the country. The bad news is that you will have to pay 39,950 USD before you will be able to get your hands on one, which is 8,800 USD more than the last generation of the GP.
What will you get for the extra money, you’re asking? Well, let’s start with the 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 211 HP. This is allowing the MINI JCW GP to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 6.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 150 mph. You will also get a more aggressive styling, leather steering wheel and gear shift knob, piano black trim, GP stitching, larger brakes, 17-inch alloy wheels, coil-over suspension and more. Just 500 units of the 2013 MINI John Cooper Works GP will be available in the United States, out of the 2,000 worldwide.
