The sixth generation of the Nissan Altima is already available for pre-order, as the car manufacturer has recently announced.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the 2013 Nissan Altima is available for pre-order in the United States, where the model has a starting price of 21,500 USD. The new generation of the Nissan Altima will be offered in three trim lines and with a choice between two engines, which are actually the same ones used on its predecessor too, the 2.5 liter DOHC four-cylinder, with its 182 HP (38 mpg), and the 3.5 liter V6 engine which is developing 270 horsepower, mated to a CVT.
The entry-level version will only be available with the 2.5 liter engine, for a starting price of 21,500 USD, while the 2.5 S, which is adding automatic headlights, six-way power adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, upgraded stereo and much more will be 1,000 USD more expensive. The Altima Sedan SV and the 2.5 SL, which cost $24,100 and 28,050 are adding leather upholstery, eight-way power lumbar driver’s seat, nine-speaker Bose audio system, power moonroof, power side mirrors and more. The Altima 3.5 S will start at 25,360 USD, the 3.5 SV costs $27,780, while for the 3.5 SL its future customers will have to pay 30,080 USD. The 2013 Nissan Altima will arrive at US dealerships this summer.
