Nissan has recently announced the official price list for the 2013 Pathfinder in the United States, which starts at 29, 085 USD for the base S model.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is available in six versions, the S, the SV, the SL, the SL Premium, the Platinum and the Platinum Premium, and the base Pathfinder S can be bought from 29,985 over-seas, while for the top of the line 2013 Pathfinder Platinum Premium, future owners will have to withdraw 41,595 USD from their bank accounts.
The truck-based SUV is transformed into a crossover on the new Nissan Pathfinder, losing some 500 pounds in the process. Standard items found on the new Pathfinder include the 4.0-inch color LCD screen in the instrument cluster or the 18-inch alloy wheels. While higher trim levels get the 13-speaker Bose audio system, the heated and cooled seats, the leather seats, the 20-inch wheels, the 8-inch color touch screen navigation system, the panoramic sunroof or the Around View Monitor.
All versions of the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder get the 3.5 liter V6 engine under their hoods, which is producing a total output of 260 HP, mated to the CVT. Nissan says that the V8 has been dropped from the 2013 lineup. Front-wheel drive versions of the new Pathfinder return 20/26 mpg in city/highway while AWD models get 19/25 mpg in city/highway.
