Porsche has recently announced the official price list for the new generation of the Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S in the United States.
According to the German based automaker, the 2013 Porsche Carrera 4 Coupe has a base starting price set at 91, 030 USD for the Coupe and at 102,930 USD for the Cabriolet, while the most powerful version of the model, the 2013 Carrera 4S can be bought from 105,630 USD for the Coupe while for the Cabriolet, future owners of the model will have to pay 117,530 USD before they will be able to get their hands on the model.
Porsche is saying that the 911 Carrera 4 Coupe and Cabriolet are powered by a 3.4 liter flat-six engine, which is producing a total output of 350 HP, allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 60 mpg in 4.3 seconds for the Coupe and in 4.5 seconds for the Cabriolet, before reaching a top speed of 177 mph for the Coupe and 175 mpg for the Cabriolet. The model is returning 20/28 mpg in city highway in the Coupe and 20/27 mpg for the Cabriolet.
Moving on to the most important version, the 2013 Porsche Carrera 4S, we find out that this is getting the larger 3.8 liter boxer engine, producing 400 HP. The 4S can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds for the Coupe and in 4.1 seconds for the Cabriolet, before reaching a top speed of 185 mph in the Coupe and 183 mph in the Cabriolet. Fuel economy stands at 19/26 mpg in city highway for both versions.
