The German based automaker Porsche has recently announced that the new generation of the Boxster has been launched in the United Kingdom, where the entry-level version has been priced at 37, 589 pounds.
After it was officially presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and made its over-seas debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show, the new generation of the Porsche Boxster is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the car manufacturer announcing its official starting price in the United Kingdom. According to the company, the base Porsche Boxster has been priced at 37,589 GBP in the UK, while the more powerful Boxster S starts at 45,384 GBP.
The third generation of the Porsche Boxster, which is wearing the 2013 model year in its name, is powered by the 2.7 liter engine, which is being offered on the entry-level version, developing a total output of 262 BHP. The more powerful 2013 Porsche Boxster S is coming with the larger 3.4 liter boxer engine, which is good for 311 BHP. Both units are being mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard and with the seven-speed dual clutch PDK as an option.
