The German based automaker Porsche is planning to introduce the new Cayenne GTS generation at the Paris Auto Show in the autumn.
After the car manufacturer has originally announced that the new generation of the Porsche Cayenne GTS will be officially presented to the public during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next month, rumors are saying that the automaker will delay the crossover’s debut to autumn, when the model is expected to be presented at the Paris Auto Show. The most powerful naturally aspirated model of the Porsche Cayenne, the GTS, is rumored not to come to Geneva because the manufacturer is currently focusing on the new Boxter generation.
The new generation of the Porsche Cayenne GTS is expected to get the same treatment as the Panamera GTS, which means that the luxurious crossover will be powered by a 4.8 liter V8 engine, which has been modified to develop a total output of 430 horsepower and a peak torque of 520 Nm (384 lb-ft). The upcoming Porsche Cayenne GTS is also expected to get a new body kit, inspired by the Turbo version, but until the model will be officially presented to the public we won’t know anything for sure.
