Ram has officially announced its plans to introduce an updated Outdoorsman model which should hit the market in the following months.
According to the North American based automaker, the 2013 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman will be based on the 2013 Ram 1500 and the truck will become available in two body styles, Quad and Crew, with two bed lengths, of 5 ft. 7 in. and 6 ft. and 4 in. Even if the company didn’t release any official images with the model, we know for a fact that the model will get two-tone exterior with Mineral Gray bumpers, special badging and body color accents, along with a fresh set of 17-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in 10-ply LT tires.

We’ve designed the Ram Outdoorsman to meet the needs of boaters, campers, hunters and fishermen”, said the Ram Truck Brand and Chrysler de Mexico president and CEO, Fred Diaz.
Power to the 2013 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman is being provided by a 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine which will produce a total output of 395 horsepower and 407 lb-ft of torque (551 Nm), mated to either a six-speed automatic or the new TorqueFlite 8 transmission with rear-wheel drive in standard or all-wheel drive as optional.
