Roush Performance has recently announced a new limited edition of the Mustang, named the Roush Stage 3 Mustang Premier Edition, which will bring some interesting features to the muscle car.
According to the aftermarket specialists at Roush Performance, the company has teamed up with Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes in order to create the 2013 Roush Stage 3 Mustang Premier Edition, which will only be available in 25 units. The guys at Roush Performance are saying that the muscle car’s new limited edition will get a choice of 12 main body colors, seven, which are already available on the 2012 model along with five bespoke ones.
The 2013 Roush Stage 3 Mustang Premier Edition is getting the Roush R6 Aerobody Kit, which is bring a new look, along with a high flow grille, a very low front grille opening, driving lamps with pockets, different front fascia chin splitters, a rear diffuser, rear aero valance and rocker panel side splitters, amongst others.
Under the hood, the Ford Mustang GT is getting the Stage 3 boost of the 5.0 liter V8 engine, with the R2300 TVS supercharger, which is now developing a total output of 565 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 505 lb-ft (684 Nm). An additional upgrade can be added by Roush, which is increasing the power to an impressive 625 HP and 525 lb-ft of torque (711 Nm). 4-piston brake calipers have been also fitted to the muscle car but optional 6-piston brakes can be added, along with 20-inch alloy wheels with a chrome finish or a hyper black. No details on the price have been announced yet.
