Scion has recently announced that the xB has received a minor facelift which is bringing some modest updates to its body and cabin.
Things aren’t looking so good for the Scion xB but that didn’t stop the carmaker to introduce a minor facelift for the hatchback and the model has now received a new front bumper, which is coming with gloss black accents and integrated LED lighting units, a glossy black rear diffuser and two new colors for its body, named the Nautical Blue Metallic and the Absolutely Red. These updates should be enough to give the Scion xB that fresh new look which is expected to attract more customers into the brand.
Besides modifying the exterior design of the model, the 2013 Scion xB has also received some changes to its cabin too, like the optional BeSpoke audio system, the chrome / light bronze metallic accents or the revised upholstery. The 2013 Scion xB is powered by a 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 158 BHP (118 kW) and 219 Nm of torque (162 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a five-speed manual transmission, with a four-speed automatic being available as an option. Prices for the model have been set at 16,800 USD and the updated xB will go on sale in the U.S early next year.
