Seat has released the first official images with the new generation of the Toledo, the model which is sharing the same platform as the Skoda Rapid.
After being officially presented to the public in a concept form during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March and leaking over the web just a few days before writing this article, the new generation of the Seat Toledo is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the car manufacturer releasing the first official images and details with the model.
According to the Spanish based automaker, the new Seat Toledo generation is 4,48 meters long, 4 cm longer than the second generation. Future customers of the 2013 Seat Toledo will be able to choose between the 1.2 TSI petrol, with 75 HP, the 1.4 liter TSI petrol, with 122 HP and the 1.6 liter diesel engine, producing 105 horsepower, but later on, a 90 HP diesel will be introduced.
The new generation of the Seat Toledo is sharing the same platform with the Skoda Rapid, but differences between the two models can be found in the front fascia, where the Spanish model is adopting the same lines as the new Ibiza, while in the rear end, the model is keeping the same shape as the concept car revealed in Geneva.
The new Seat Toledo will be launched in Spain and Portugal in mid-November and in early 2013 the model will hit the rest of Europe.
