2013 Shelby 1000 S/C to get more than 1,000 HP image

One of the most famous aftermarket specialists across the U.S., Shelby, have recently announced their plans to introduce a revised 1000 S/C, which should offer more than 1,000 HP.

Good news for those of you living in the United States who are currently looking for a brand new muscle car because you will soon get the chance to order the 2013 Shelby 1000 S/C. According to its creators, the vehicle will get an impressive 1,000 HP form under its hood, and this will basically be an updated 2012 Ford Shelby GT500, which will get some interesting upgrades.

The powerful car will get a 5.8 liter supercharged engine under its hood, instead of the 5.4 liter V8, which will help produce the 1,000 HP (746 kW). The engine is coming with new pistons, rings, rods, a more efficient cooling system, a different fuel system with new injector, a 4.0 liter supercharged and a 6-speed manual transmission. The 2013 Shelby 1000 S/C will be produced in 40 – 50 units, and each one will have a starting price of 209,990 USD. The first unit of the 2013 Shelby 1000 S/C will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 New York Auto Show.
