An SRT Viper from the new generation has met its end recently on the Atlanta Dragway after being crashed while racing.
The driver of this brand new 2013 SRT Viper will probably think again before heading over to the drag strip for some adrenalin with his sports car after crashing his ride recently while racing it. The best part is that the incident took place on a drag strip, in a controlled environment, meaning that the driver has most likely walked away without any serious injuries but the worst part is that the 2013 SRT Viper in question will probably be transformed into beer cans. The incident took place in Atlanta, GA.
The SRT Viper’s fifth generation has been in production since 2012 and it’s coming with a single body style, a two-door coupe. The model is 4,460 mm (175.7 in) long, 1,940 mm (76.4 in) wide and 1,250 mm (49.1 in tall) and it’s taking its power from a large 8.4 liter V10 engine, producing a total output of 640 HP (477 kW) and 813 Nm (600 lb-ft) of torque. Prices for the 2014 SRT Viper have been set at 103,990 USD while the 2014 SRT Viper GTS costs 116,000 USD.
