The new generation of the Dodge Viper, the SRT, which will be wearing the 2013 model year in its name, has recently leaked on the internet.
After the Chrysler Group LLC has teased one of the most popular sports cars over-seas at the end of January, this year, the new generation of the Dodge Viper SRT has recently leaked on the internet, and even if the image is too pixalated, we can actually see the overall shape of the model. This could be the first time when the 2013 SRT Viper is seen and for the image we must thank the guys from T-Hunted.
Even if the car manufacturer has teased the new Viper and now we have an image with the upcoming SRT Viper, we still don’t know anything about the model, except the fact that it should be improved compared to the current generation. Chrysler apparently went after Porsche owners and other high-end supercar owners to ask them what is wrong with the Viper and why don’t they like it, so we might see some big changes in the 2013 model year.
The 2013 Dodge Viper is expected to be powered by a massive 8.7 liter V10 engine which will develop a total output of 600 horsepower and a peak torque of 560 lb-ft (760 Nm). The SRT Viper will be officially presented to the public at the New York Auto Show in April, before hitting the dealerships later this year.
