The North American based automaker Chrysler has just released a final teaser of the 2013 SRT Viper, ahead of its official debut at the New York Auto Show on the 4th of April.
The new generation of the SRT Viper has been teased a couple of times in March, after the model has leaked, in a very pixelated image earlier this year, but now the American sports car is once again placed into the spotlights, for the last time, ahead of its official debut on the 4th of April at the 2012 New York Auto Show. Chrysler has chosen another image to highlight the 2013 SRT Viper, this time showing its front fascia in a dark background, but just as you probably expected, that doesn’t reveal too much of it.
“Get ready – the wait is almost over for America’s iconic predator. The all-new 2013 SRT Viper is ready to shed its skin and sink its fangs into the supercar world”, as SRT said in its short statement.
The 2013 SRT Viper is expected to be powered by a massive 8.7 liter V10 engine, which will develop a total output of 600 horsepower and have a peak torque of 560 lb-ft, but that’s all we have on it for now. The new SRT Viper generation will be officially presented to the public on Wednesday, the 4th of April, 2012, at the New York Auto Show.
