The Japanese based automaker Toyota has recently launched a teaser image with the 2013 Avalon model, ahead of its official debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show on the 5th of April.
According to the car manufacturer, this is actually a first teaser image of an all-new sedan aimed towards the United States, but judging by the official image posted above, this can be named just about anything but a sedan. The 2013 Toyota Avalon looks very much like a two-door coupe and the model will most likely get a powerful engine because otherwise the dual exhaust system has been fitted on it for nothing.
“Toyota Motor Sales, Inc. will debut an all-new U.S.-designed sedan at the 2012 New York Auto Show. The global premiere will take place in the Galleria room within the Jacob Javits Center at 10:30 a.m. EDT on April 5, 2012”, as Toyota said in its official press release. “The sedan’s exciting new design features and elegant yet athletic look.”
The teaser image provided by Toyota is currently keeping the 2013 Avalon into the shadows, even if the rear end, along with part of the roof line, the rear fender and a wheel are visible, so we will have to wait for the 2012 New York Auto Show in order to find out more about it.
