The 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has been officially unveiled, following the leaked images which made their way onto the web just last week.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is now coming with an enlarged front grille, with different headlights, new taillights, new license plate garnish, different wheel choices and four new exterior colors, which include the Dark Blue Mica, the Dark Green Mica, the Allitude Black Mica and the Bronze Mica Metallic. The cabin of the model has received updated trim, revised instrument cluster, updated audio panel, Multi-terrain Select, 4.2-inch screen and some other tweaks.
Two engines will become available for the model on the Old Continent, the 4.0 liter V6 petrol and the 3.0 liter four-cylinder turbo diesel. The petrol version is producing a total output of 282 HP (207 kW) and 385 Nm of torque (283 lb-ft), mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 10.9 seconds and top speed stands at 180 km/h (111 mph). The diesel burner is getting 190 HP (140 kW) and 420 Nm of torque (309 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in 10.2 seconds and top speed stands at 175 km/h (108 mph).
