Toyota has recently launched the 2013 Prius C in the United States where the model is available to its future customers from 19, 875 USD.
After it was officially presented to the public earlier this year during the Detroit Motor Show (NAIAS), the Prius C is entering our news once again, this time with the Japanese based automaker announcing the starting price of the 2013 model year version. According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 Toyota Prius C is now available from 19,875 USD, shipping included, while the top of the line version can be bought from 24,155 USD. The Prius C is more expensive than the 2013 Honda Insight or the 2013 Ford Fiesta SE.
As a quick reminder, the Toyota Prius C is powered by a 1.5 liter petrol engine and an electric motor, where the first one is developing 73 PS and 111 Nm of torque, while the second one is generating 61 PS and 169 Nm of torque, helped by a 144 volt nickel-metal hybrid (Ni-MH) battery which is located under the rear seats. The Prius C is getting a 3.5-inch Multi Info Display full color panel which is showing everything from the navigation system and reverse camera to the Energy Monitor.
