The 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition will be officially presented to the public for the first time this weekend, during the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
According to the North American based automaker, the 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition is actually inspired by the previous generation of the Viper Coupe and the sports car is coming with the classic GTS Blue paintjob, along with the dual full-length Bright White stripes and the “Stryker” hood badge.
“Designed with Viper loyalists in mind, the 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition model brings back the classic paint schemes that have adorned all previous Viper coupe launches to help us celebrate the return of our brand’s flagship performance machine to the supercar market”, said the presiden and CEO of Street Racing Technology Brand and Motorsports and Senior VP of Product Design of the Chrysler Group LLC, Ralph Gilles.
The car manufacturer is saying that the 2013 Viper GTS Launch Edition is also getting some exclusive interior upgrades, like the serialized dash plaque, the “Stryker” badge on the steering wheel, the black Laguna leather with contrast stitching on the steering wheel, grab handle, instrument panel, door trim, center console and shift knob. Power to the 2013 Viper GTS Launch Edition is being provided by a mid-engine 8.4 liter V10 which is producing 640 HP And 600 lb-ft of torque.
