The future generation of the Volkswagen Beetle Convertible has finally been revealed but not as you have might expected.
After being teased a couple of times and spied while it was being tested on the road, the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible is entering our news once again, but this time it doesn’t have any camouflage on its body and it can fit in your pockets. Yes, the first look at the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible is coming as a toy and the scale model has been named the “Dealer Edition 1/43 2013 VW Beetle Cabriolet Convertible” and this can mean one thing, that all the models created will probably be handed over to dealerships to be sold in their gift shops.
The new generation of the Volkswagen Beetle Convertible, which is wearing the 2013 model year in its name, is expected to get three different engines in the United States, the 2.5 liter five-cylinder unit, which is producing a total output of 170 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque (240 Nm), the 2.0 liter TSI four-cylinder with 200 HP and 207 lb-ft of torque (280 Nm) and the 2.0 liter TDI four-cylinder with 138 HPO and 236 lb-ft of torque (320 Nm). The model will go on sale over-seas later on this year.
