The online configurator of the new generation Volkswagen Golf 7 is revealing the three-door version of the model.
After it was officially presented to the public just a couple of days ago, putting an end to speculations on what it will look like and what engines will it get under its hood, the new generation of the Volkswagen Golf is entering our news once again, this time with an interesting find. The online configurator for the 2013 VW Golf 7 is revealing the three-door version of the model, along with the starting price of the Trendline entry-level, which has been set at 16,975 euros on its local auto market.
The new generation of the Volkswagen Golf 7 is riding on the MQB modular platform which has made its debut back in March at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on the new Audi A3, and the platform will also underpin future models to be developed by either VW or its brands. The new Golf generation is 56 mm longer, 59 mm wider and 28 mm shorter than the current model at 4,255 mm long, 2,637 mm wide and 1,452 mm tall. More details on the new Golf here.
