Volkswagen has recently announced that the 2013 Jetta Hybrid has been launched in the United States, where the “green” model will be available from 24,995 USD.
According to the German based automaker, the 2013 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid will be available to its future owners over-seas later on this year and the entry-level version will get features like the leather wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity, automatic climate control and more, while the SE variant, priced from 26,990 SE, will add a touch screen infotainment system, keyless entry and LED taillights.
The 2013 VW Jetta SEL, available from 29,325 USD, is coming with a sunroof, heated front seats, navigation system and 16-inch alloy wheels while the top of the line SEL Premium, priced from 31,180 USD, will add bi-xenon headlights, Fender audio system and 17-inch alloy wheels. Power to all the models is coming from a 1.4 liter TSI engine and an electric motor, producing a total output of 170 HP (127 kW) and 249 Nm of torque (184 lb-ft). This is enough to allow the model to sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 9 seconds and return 45 mpg US (54.0 mpg UK / 5.2 L/100 km).
