The Swedish based automaker Volvo has recently announced the official starting price for the 2013 XC90 crossover, which has been set at $39,500 in the United States.
According to the car manufacture, the 2013 Volvo XC90 is coming with a series of changes and the model is actually celebrating its tenth anniversary. As you can see from the images posted below this article, the Swedish crossover has body-colored bumpers, wheel arches and side skirts, a new bumper bar, matte exterior mirrors and 18-inch alloy wheels, while the R-Design is getting LED daytime running lights, a monotone exterior and 19-inch alloy wheels. In the cabin, the 2013 XC90 is getting aluminum trim, leather strap on the tailgate, white instrumentation lighting and some other minor changes, while for the Plus and Platinum models the Sovereign leather, unique floor mats and red wood trim are being added.
The 2013 Volvo XC90 in the US-spec is getting the 3.2 liter V6 engine which is developing a total output of 240 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 320 Nm (236 lb-ft). The unit is being mated to a six-speed automatic transmission which is sending power to the optional all-wheel drive system or the to the standard two-wheel drive. Prices for the 2013 Volvo XC90 in the US have been set at $39,500 for the entry-level.
