Acura has recently pulled the wraps off the 2014 ILX which is coming with some minor updates from 26, 900 USD over-seas.
According to the car manufacturer, the Acura ILX has been recently updated for the 2014 model year. The model is now coming with an eight-way power driver’s seat, with leather upholstery, with heated front seats, with an audio system which has noise cancellation technology, a rearview camera and 17-inch alloy wheels, amongst others.
“The 2014 Acura ILX luxury sports sedan goes on sale tomorrow with a host of new standard features, further strengthening the gateway vehicle to the Acura brand. Introduced as an all-new model for the 2013 model year, the 2014 Acura ILX offers increased value on a luxury scale with eight new standard features to enhance its curb appeal, interior comfort and overall driving enjoyment”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
The 2014 Acura ILX is coming with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, with the same 150 HP (112 kW) and 190 Nm of torque (140 lb-ft). Besides this, the model can also be equipped with a larger 2.4 liter four-cylinder unit, with its 200 HP (150 kW) and 230 Nm of torque. This unit can only be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The 2014 Acura ILX will go on sale across the U.S. starting with the 15th of May from 26,900 USD.
