Acura is getting ready to launch the most expensive ad campaign in the brand’s history which will focus on promoting the redesigned 2014 MDX.
The new ad campaign, for the 2014 Acura MDX, which is named “Made for Mankind”, will debut next month (July) and it cost the carmaker 78 million USD. The redesigned MDX ads will pop up in television commercials, billboards and cinemas, but promoting the vehicle won’t stop here and you will also see it on your mobile devises and computers.
“The all-new 2014 MDX is the benchmark for luxury SUVs. We’ve advanced the current MDX’s already great dynamic performance, while improving fuel efficiency and luxury comfort and styling. The new MDX campaign captures Acura’s unique perspective on luxury defined by the quality of the driving experience, where the vehicle performs at the will of the driver”, said the senior VP of Acura automobile operations, Mike Accavitti.
As a quick reminder, the 2014 Acura MDX has been officially unveiled just a few months ago. The model is available to its future customers in eight versions, starting from the MDX FWD, which is the cheapest one, priced at 42,290 USD, and ending with the top of the line MDX SH-AWD with the Advanced and Entertainment Packages, which will set you back for 56,505 USD. Power is being provided by Honda’s i-VTEC 3.5 liter V6 engine, which is good for 290 HP and 267 lb-ft of torque.
