Acura has recently announced its plans to introduce the 2014 RLS during this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show.
After revealing a concept car earlier this year which is previewing the next RLX, Acura is placing the model into the spotlights once more, this time by announcing that the final production version of the model will be officially presented to the public in a world premiere during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. According to the car manufacturer, the 2014 Acura RLX will get a toned-down version of the front grille, LED headlights, the new AcuraLink communication system, the collision mitigation braking system, a lane keep assist system, front, side and side curtain airbags for driver and passenger and much more.
Under the hood, the 2014 Acura RLX will get the 3.5 liter V6 engine with front-wheel drive, which is producing a total output of 310 horsepower (314 PS / 231 kW), along with the 3.5 liter V6 and three electric motors for the all-wheel drive version, which is developing 370 HP (375 PS / 276 kW). Additional details on the 2014 Acura RLX are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
