Alpina has recently announced the official starting price of the new D3 Bi-Turbo in the United Kingdom, where the model will set you back for at least 46,950 GBP, for the sedan body style.
Alpina has unveiled the brand new D3 Bi-Turbo just a month ago, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, and now the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the Bimmer specialist announcing its price list for the United Kingdom. According to Alpina, the new D3 Bi-Turbo costs 46,950 GBP, for the sedan, while the estate will set you back for 49,950 GBP.
Standard equipment found on the model includes the climate control, leather upholstery, electrically adjustable heated sports seats, Alpina Blue instruments, leather wrapped steering wheel and hand stitched, bi-xenon headlights, Adaptive M Sport Suspension system, 19-inch alloy wheels, aerodynamic upgrades and a quad exhaust system. Under the hood there is a 3.0 liter turbocharged diesel engine, which is good for 350 HP (257 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. This is enough to allow the sedan to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 278 km/h (172 mph). The average fuel consumption stands at 5.3L / 100km (53.2 mpg UK / 44.3 mpg US).
